Much like royalty, Beyoncé has a team of stylists which include her cousin, KJ Moody, Shiona Turini, Karen Langley, and Julia Sarr-Jamois, the Fashion Director of British Vogue. They took turns mixing and matching runway styles, custom pieces and bespoke creations to give Beyoncé a look all her own for the 48 shows in 39 different venues during her RENAISSANCE Tour.
To produce the 140 different looks that were featured during the tour was a highly collaborative process. Designers from near and far met the challenge of outfitting the pop icon. Everyone from the top echelon (Alexander McQueen and Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain) to household names (Tiffany & Co. and Gucci) to up-and-comers like Lebanese-based Georges Hobeika and New Yorkers LaQuan Smith and Brandon Blackwood.
Queen Bey also went the extra mile to feature Black designers during her second night in Amsterdam, which was also the night before Juneteenth. Maximilian Davis (Creative Director for Ferragamo), Ibrahim Kamara for Off White, and Ethiopian designer Feben were just a few.

This French designer skews more playful as his collections tend to feature child-like vibes and topless models. He definitely stays outside of the box of his Parisian counterparts but it’s seemed to have worked for him – he’s carried by some of biggest retailers in the EU and has footwear, handbag and men’s lines.

Ok, so Beyoncé didn’t perform in Serbia, Roksanda’s hometown but she did play five nights at Tottenham Spur Stadium in North London where designer lives currently. The 47-year-old designer and her team finished the dress in two weeks. It had a padded wire structure and was finished off with a Tiffany & Co. silver and diamond necklace.

The Austrian-born Kronthaler was the husband of the late Vivenne Westwood. Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood is the name behind this black custom mini latex dress with corset-style detailing and a sheer spiral sleeves. It was finished off with custom chandelier earrings and a bespoke Drip Intravenous necklace named after a line in her song, “Alien Superstar.”
