The Winter Olympics have begun
On Friday, February 4,, the Winter Olympics officially kicked off in Beijing, China, with its opening ceremony. With a 13-hour time difference between Beijing and the U.S., the live ceremony premiered at 7 a.m. Friday morning on NBC. The Opening Ceremony aired again at 8 p.m.
The U.S. takes the lead in figure skating as star Nathan Chen made his mark in the men’s short program.

Most of the athletic events began on Saturday, February 5.
Netflix gives us a first look at Knives Out 2
Knives Out fans, rejoice! Netflix gave audiences a first glance at the film on February 3 on social media. The streaming service dropped a video with little previews of the biggest movies coming to Netflix in 2022.

One clip included a first look at the movie as Daniel Craig travels on a boat with some other colorful characters. Along with Daniel Craig, Dave Bautista, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson, Madelyn Cline, Jessica Henwick, and Ethan Hawke are set to star in the sequel.

Jackass Forever releases in theaters
After almost a decade, Jackass has returned with a new movie, Jackass Forever. In the film, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, and others continue their wild and painful shenanigans.

Dakota Johnson set to star in the Marvel universe
Deadline reports that Dakota Johnson is in talks to star in Marvel’s Madame Web film. S.J Clarkson is set to direct, and Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless wrote the screenplay. While Madame web is an elderly woman who doesn’t actively fight villains in the comic, the movie may change some things around.

Rihanna announces her pregnancy
Rihanna has got a new project on the way, and it isn’t music! The singer, actress, and businesswoman is expecting her first child with A$AP Rocky. Photographer Diggzy took photos of the couple as they strolled New York City. Rihanna was wearing a pink puffer jacket open at her stomach to show off her baby bump. The photos have now gone viral on social media.
